Investment & Finance Education Programs for College Students

Our Regular Application Deadline has passed. Please check back for our 2026 application in Summer 2025!

Girls Who Invest offers two tuition-free education programs for undergraduate students enrolled in or transferring to a four-year U.S. or U.S.-style college or university. All majors can apply!

Summer Intensive Program

The Summer Intensive Program (SIP) is an 11-week experience open to college sophomores: on-campus training and a paid investment internship.

SIP combines academic instruction with real-world experience.

Learn core finance and investment principles alongside a strong community and then apply that knowledge through a guaranteed internship with a leading investment firm.

Online Intensive Program

The Online Intensive Program (OIP) is a self-directed, asynchronous program open to college sophomores and first-years.

OIP allows independent learners the opportunity to develop skills in finance and investing fundamentals at their own pace from renowned training organizations.

The program is designed for completion from February through August while undertaking an independent internship, summer job, or other full-time endeavor.

“Not only did GWI give me the foundational skills & confidence I needed to break into finance, but also a massive alumni community that will continue to empower and support me throughout my career. Can’t recommend enough for any freshmen/sophomore women!”

- Macy Desmarais, OIP Alum 2021
