 Girls Who Invest Wins Crain’s New York Business Women-Forward Workplace Award

NEW YORK – May 7, 2024 Crain’s New York Business selected Girls Who Invest as the winner of its Women-Forward Workplace Award for small-to-medium workplaces. The award honors employers in New York that demonstrate female leadership and implement successful policies to help women thrive. GWI was one of ten finalists, and the awardee was announced live during a luncheon at the Marriott Marquis on May 1.

GWI CEO Katherine Jollon Colsher, Heather Perceval, Head of Programs and Career Advancement, and Christina Kim, Head of Partnerships, accepted the award on behalf of GWI.

“This award from Crain’s New York Business recognizes GWI’s commitment to advancing diversity and uplifting women and gender nonbinary people in our workplace culture as well as through our educational programs,” said Katherine Jollon Colsher. “At GWI, we know that change begins within, and in our workplace, we strive to embody the changes that we want to see in the world of investment management and beyond.”
