November 15, 2023 — Girls Who Invest (GWI), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the investment management industry by attracting and advancing women and non-binary investors, changemakers, and leaders, is proud to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors: Collette Chilton, Senior Advisor to the Investment Committee at Williams College, Heather Kennedy Miner, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Advent International, and Tina Byles Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Xponance, Inc.

“We’re beyond honored to welcome Collette, Heather, and Tina to our Board of Directors,” said Katherine Jollon Colsher, President and CEO at Girls Who Invest. “The level of expertise that these outstanding leaders bring to the GWI Community is invaluable. To date, we’ve seen incredible success within our community, recently surpassing 2,500 alumni, and we’re excited to continue our work as a collective to further move the needle forward on greater diversity and inclusion within the investment management industry.”

“Since founding Girls Who Invest over eight years ago in 2015, we have made tremendous progress in helping transform our industry for the better by bringing more diverse women into the investing decision-making process and that’s in large part thanks to our terrific partners and supporters of our mission,” said Seema R. Hingorani, Founder and Chair of Girls Who Invest. “As we look ahead, I am thrilled that Collette, Heather, and Tina have joined us as key advisors to help propel our organization to even greater heights.”

As GWI celebrates the addition of Chilton, Miner and Williams, the non-profit also applauds the positive impacts that they have already made across the industry, further paving a path forward for future generations of women and non-binary people within financial services.
